From the family of hotels at the vanguard of the ecoluxury movement, the newest 1 Hotel anchors the hip Brooklyn Heights waterfront. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the East River, so If you don't get a prime look at the Brooklyn Bridge, you'll get to gaze out on the downtown Manhattan skyline or across New York Harbor to the Statue of Liberty. The hotel's furniture is crafted of pine recycled from the Coney Island boardwalk, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and Bronx-grown trees felled by Hurricane Sandy. Each room's marble shower includes a 5-minute sand timer to encourage water conservation. Moss gardens and live plants in each room take the edge off city living, and minibars are stocked with kombucha.
Multiple farm-to-table dining options will delight the foodie: The Osprey serves American comfort food and boasts an excellent weekend brunch; Harriet's Rooftop & Lounge on the 10th floor provides refined cocktails, small bites, and dazzling views of every boat on the water.
Best experience I have had at a hotel in years!!! Absolutely beautiful and the views are unreal. Food and drinks are great and the staff is amazing. Number one hotel for sure.
