They say everything's bigger in Texas, and Dallas' Hotel ZaZa Uptown is no exception. This bold, lively establishment takes everything you look for in a boutique hotel -- quirky, unique accents, loads of personality, and a happening atmosphere -- and turns the volume up to 11. We mean it. The whole place is outfitted in eye-popping art and furniture with inspirations stemming from styles from baroque to Asian to czarist Russia; chandeliers are everywhere, even in the fitness center; and the hotel hosts a vibrant social scene of both locals and travelers. The pool is a see-and-be-seen spot for local socialites by day, and transforms into the Urban Oasis lounge by night.
The ZaZa is a popular pick for bachelorette parties, anniversaries, and other celebrations, but the central location means that it's a palatable option for business travelers in Dallas as well. The hotel's Dragonfly restaurant, with its well-groomed dress code and inventive menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, provides a choice setting for power meals where you really want to make a statement -- or for some added zing, book the ZaZa's private dining room, called The Dragon’s Den.
Ended up staying here for a week after hurricane Irma. Lovely hotel and they do accept pets ' a small fee. There is literally a warm cookie hour everyday, and there amazing! Solid pool and good bar cross the street from Whole Foods which was convenient.
