Though the Mondrian in Miami is, like its location in LA, a design-focused upscale boutique hotel, with a hot club and pool scene to spare, this hotel is less clubby and a little more PG-13 than its nearby sisters The Delano and the Shore Club. One reason may be that it’s located right on the Biscayne Bay, a five minutes drive away from the primo beachfront real estate. And the inclusion of a kiddie pool and kitchenettes in the large rooms does draw in the occasional family.
The hotel itself is modern, both in its amenities and its stark design. And the infinity pool overlooking the bay is surrounded by a number of private cabanas and a busy bar. Check out white hot Southern restaurant Yardbird just a short walk away. Or stick around to view the sunsets at Mondrian Bar.
Great stay with even better rates from FC. The money saved with the rate discount was worth the FC membership price alone, not to mention the very valuable Complimentary Wireless access that saved me over $350. Pro Tip: Make sure you find David when you get to the pool and he will take care of you for your entire stay.
