This is a great hotel, with comfortable and elegant rooms. It's quite a small hotel, but has a large garden to explore out the back. You can walk from the hotel to St Mark's Square, but it is about half an hour, but you are literally two minutes from Orto stop on the vaporetto (water bus), which will take you there. The hotel also runs shuttles there several times a day. Orto is also the first stop for Alilaguna, which runs boat shuttles from the airport. You want the orange/arancia line. The hotel has a well stocked bar and great cocktails, served by friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. Can't comment on full meals, as we didn't dine at the hotel. Certainly happy with it as a place to stay, and the FC offer made it more affordable. Venice is not by any means a cheap place to stay, eat, or do anything.

Just stayed at this hotel. The food was fantastic and so was the staff/service. The location is excellent since it is away from the crowded tourist areas. We stayed in the Panorama room on the water which was very nice with a fantastic view. However the bathroom had mold in the ceiling shower, missing crown moulding, peeling paint and water stains on various parts of the ceiling.
