There’s no mistaking the swagger of the SLS Beverly Hills, a hotel that occupies a unique place at the intersection of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, hospitality and the nightlife and the celebrity and civilian worlds. Its all-star roster includes designer Philippe Starck, who rendered the interiors with cheeky baroque abandon.
The surprisingly subtle rooms boast earth tone palettes, white leather headboards, and mod furniture softly lit by custom fixtures. The pool, ringed by cabanas and beautiful people, is less low-key but no less enjoyable for the views, both of people and of landscape.
Great location and nice hotel. Love the gym here. My only complaint was the Bazaar not being able to handle a request to not have the dinner tab brought to the table. I was trying to make sure clients didn't even see the check or me pay for it, but Bazaar couldn't deliver. All else has been wonderful the few times I've stayed here.
