Located right in the middle of the Theater District and within walking distance from the Back Bay, Boston Common, and Newbury and Boylston streets (and all their shops, bars, and restaurants), the W Boston is a destination in its own right. It has the same sleek, hip look of its sister W hotels, and features a young, busy bar scene and a bustling lobby and lounge. Bottom line: it’s a great alternative to Boston’s large swath of historic hotels and is more stylish but not necessarily more expensive than the less exciting hotel chains.
Rooms have soaking tubs, beds with high thread count sheets, and, on higher floors, great views of the city skyline. Also: access to the Bliss Spa on site, 24-hour room service, and a state of the art gym. Get a high floor, 15th floor or above, for the best views and to escape the city noise.
Great Hotel - my wife and I entertained some clients here - the bar was a blast and made some really good cocktails.
